M.E.C. Interrogation

Having captured our prisoner, we put it under the spotlight.

Here is a close up of that cross-plate on the right side of the case. Simple, but effective.

Moving around to the front, here is a close-up on the fanbus, with battle-worn indicator LEDs and toggle switches.

The best case mods have an extra level of detail that isn't immediately apparent to the eye, yet they all add up to give that 'wow' factor. On the left, along with recolated Power and Reset switches, is a working intruder alarm, complete with hazard paint. If you look closely (click for a bigger version) you will see the switches are all labelled in Arabic. On the right is the mock radar scope - the grab handles give it that extra sense of rugged realism, like it is a removable module. Just don't tell anyone they are DIY cupboard handles!

The left side of the case is bullet-ridden, and wouldn't look out of place on the streets of Beruit. The holes are drilled as well as countersunk for that cratered look, then out comes the Dremel to apply the damaged paint effect and cracks in the perspex window.
